My Story

I live in North Central Texas with my aging parents, my son, and our 5 (yes, 5!) dogs. Millie is the oldest, I inherited her from my husband when he finished his earthly journey in November of 2023. Ty is my son's dog and is probably the best behaved of any of them - though he does like to jump over the back fence if he thinks we are too slow to let him inside! We don't know the breed of either Millie or Ty. They are just lovable mutts that we can't do without! My parents have Aussie, a full-blooded Australian Shepherd who is very protective of them and growls when the other dogs get too close. We're working on that... Then there's my fur baby, Kodiak - Kodi for short. He's a one-year-old Pitt-bull mix that my daughter rescued for me shortly after my husband passed. He keeps me company and cuddles with me whenever I'm feeling down. He truly helped me through the loss of my husband, and I have no doubt that he was sent to me by God for that purpose. Last, but not least, is Dolly, a Pitt-bull/Lab mix. She came to me unexpectedly when a friend became unable to care for her. She's still very young, and a big stinker, but we lover just the same!

I have 2 adult children. My son stays with me to help with my parents and the upkeep on my house. He's a Godsend if ever there was one. My daughter no longer lives at home, but she is close, and I see her frequently. She is like my best friend. If I ever need a shoulder, I know I can call on her and she'll be there.

So, that's me in a nutshell! I look forward to getting to know you as we embark on this journey of crafting!

My Mission Goals

My primary goal with this site is to bring you awesome crafting tips - that you can actually use - and give you some inspiration from the Word of God about how you can use these crafts to encourage yourself and others on a daily basis.

I personally love having little reminders of God's love and promises everywhere! It's amazing what seeing a Bible verse, or even just the words, "God Loves You" can do for your spirit!

Making these things is incredibly rewarding but giving them away... that is amazing! I have found that I can spend a few dollars to make a simple keychain, not knowing who it was for, and then God will lead me to give it to that "just right person." The look on the face of someone who just needed to know that someone was thinking about them, or to be reminded of that one verse that would get them through their struggles is indescribable and a gift in itself.

So, come, make someone's day with me - it might even be your own!
